Inspired by Jonathan W. Y. Gray this is a colophon page to detail some of what this website does and why.

This website is made using Quarto an ‘open-source scientific and technical publishing system’.

I like Quarto as it can be used to write slides, websites and books! If you are an academic once you get the hang of it it can fit easily into many of your work flows.

To make this website look how it does I have customized the base Quarto site layout quite significantly - and this remains a work in progress as I keep on tinkering.

I am using fonts I have chosen - FairfaxHD and Pilowlava - using the built in custom.scss. I also have a custom class to make highlights

As this is a static website it has no cookies and does not collect or store any data about who is visiting it.
